Ah, the trip was finally upon us! After months of planning for this trip myself and my friend Leanne were headed to Thailand!  We were pretty darn excited, but had about a 24 hours travel day ahead of us.

Shortly after I got out of work that Friday, we headed to the airport to catch out flight with Xiamen Air.  Traveling to Bangkok Thailand

Traveling to Bangkok ThailandOur first flight was to a small town in China where we went through customs and immigration.  We then got back on that airplane and had a short flight to Xiamen China.  After a couple hour layover we then departed Bangkok!

Traveling to BangkokOnce we checked into hour hostel (Nappark).  Nappark hostel had friendly staff, was clean, excellent location and a welcoming atmosphere to meet new friends! I would highly recommend! After, we headed over to Khao San Road, as we were in desperate need of something to eat. Here is the first pad Thai (of many) and oh boy was it delicious!  Also, that was when I realized just how cheap Thailand was compared to the United States.  This plate of pad thai was 50 Thai baht which is approximately $1.56.

While I was in Thailand I tried vlogging a bit, here is the first day! Subscribe here to catch the rest!

We were traveling all around Thailand for 2 weeks, stay tuned for many more posts!
