Summer is quickly approaching!  Who else is super excited for a bit of warmer weather?  I may be from Buffalo where it cold 75% of the year but I absolutely love running in hotter temperatures.  And what better way to cool down after a run than a icy cold smoothie.  There’s something that makes the smoothie extra satisfying after a summer long run.  Not only do are they a perfect way to cool down after a hot summer workout, they also can provide those nutrients to help you recover better from your workout. I most recently made this delicious pina colada smoothie that I had to share. The mix of pineapple and coconut makes me feel like I’m sipping a pina colada on a tropical beach somewhere.
