I am a huge huge smoothie fan.  I love testing out new ingredients in smoothie.  The best part is you pretty much can’t go wrong with ingredients you love in smoothies.  The new year has come and gone and a majority of people choose to make a lifestyle change, eating healthier and working out.  It’s just about that time where people start falling off their new years resolutions.  So here I am to re inspire you and show you eating healthy doesn’t have to taste bland!

  • One Large Banana
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen strawberry/pineapple blend fruit
  • 1.5 Cups Blue Diamond Almond Milk
  • (optional) 1/2 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Ice if needed

  1. Blend everything in the blender until smooth, add ice if needed.

My one key ingredient to smoothie is always banana. Bananas add a super creamy texture to smoothie.  I really like pairing smoothies with Almond Breeze almond milk as it ads another layer of flavor and creaminess that water doesn’t do!

This is a super simple and healthy way to get some extra fruit in for the day! One thing to note: be very cautious of made for you smoothies from food restaurants, they often tend to add a lot of extra added sugar, which defeats the purpose of eating healthier!
