Salmon in Marinara Sauce

Tuesday in my house is fish nights and today was my night to cook! I was struggling to find a way to cook my salmon that wasn’t bland old salmon again so I went out to my garden to find some herbs and I cam back with this! I cooked up a nice marinara sauce and then cooked the salmon fillets in the sauce. And there you have it. A deliciously flavorful healthy meal!
Cooked the marinara in this frying pan and then cooked the salmon in the sauce about 10minutes(may vary depending how thick your salmon is) each side seemed to cook my salmon well.
I then paired it with broccoli, because every meal is better with broccoli!  I also may just happen to absolutely love broccoli!  As you can tell, I did really well transferring the salmon from the pan to the plate, but none the less it still tasted absolutely delicious.  I was a bit nervous mixing marinara and salmon since salmon can taste a bit fishy a points.  However, it turned out a lot better than expected!
Marinara Recipe

– Basil
– Olive Oil
– Garlic
– Salt and Pepper
Directions:  Saute garlic in olive oil.  Add tomatoes and fresh basil.  Simmer until a sauce consistency.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Add Salmon and cook evenly on both sides.  Eat and enjoy!
