Realistic Resolution- Gorton’s Fish

I am a huge fish consumer,  I much prefer fish over any other meat, mainly due to the texture of things such as chicken, beef and pork.  Fish provides many important nutrients like iron, and omega  3’s, the better for you fats, and it’s high in protein.  So if you’re starting a New Year’s resolution, baked or grilled fish would be a great thing to add into your diet.

I recently tried Gorton’s the Grilled  Alaska Pollock with Garlic Butter flavorings.  It was extremely easy to cook, all you do is simply take it out of the freezer, remove it from the plastic package, put it on a tray and pop it into the oven, or toaster oven.  You can also cook it in the microwave, however I think the oven gives it a nice taste and texture to the top.

 The fish tasted great! It didn’t have a “fishy” taste to it at all as some fishes do. It had a great garlic butter flavor to it but certainly was not overwhelmingly garlic.  I also found it to have a great texture that was nice and flaky.  The fish also comes in many more types of fishes in various seasonings!  And with the Baked and Grilled options of Gorton’s fish, you can stick to that resolution!

    Its funny…. I love January – the fresh start, setting goals, making plans – but I’m not a big “resolution” setter. Or maybe I am, I just think of it more as goals. Some are big, and I make smaller ones along the way. Others are small or just for fun. Mostly I don’t want resolutions to cause stress. Once that hits, I know I’ve been unrealistic.
