What I liked and disliked about NYC

No matter where you go, you are bound to find things you like and dislike about the places you visit. Today i’m going to share both my favorite and least favorite parts about NYC.

1. So much to do!- You can find anything to do no matter you interests, there will be things to do.
2. So many places to explore!- my favorite thing to do when I travel is to just walk around and explore every area of the city. I am pretty sure I walked every street south of 90th St. in Manhattan.
3. Healthy food restaurants!- So many restaurants of different varieties of food to choose from!
4. Awesome place to people watch!
5. I can walk anywhere if I need something last minute!
6. The history!

1. Not able to sit outside without getting attacked by a pigeon.- Most cafes and coffee shops have little to no places to sit. So, you either have to sit outside or walk with it. Let’s just say the pigeons aren’t afraid to come up in your personal space!
2. Not able to just sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. I missed my patio and just sitting outside and eating breakfast. There’s not extra space for that in NYC unless you have a lot of money.
3. The smell.- Oh boy does it smell. Anything from garbage, to subway, to dog pee. GROSS. I missed fresh air!

The likes outweigh the dislikes by far. The dislikes aren’t things that I would notice on vacation, just a more long term status. Overall I loved it!

Yup I have the same thing, love the city, but after three days I have to get out of there. It is amazing, but just a bit claustrophobic for my taste.

Haha, it’s so true about the getting attacked by pigeons thing!! I always say that I love NY for a few days but I couldn’t live there.

Totally with ya on cities having a bad smell. Sometimes Dallas seems like that, most of the time not, though!

Oh I’ve never been to Dallas before. I’ll have to check out the city sometime!
