Healthy Football Tailgate Food

It’s football season! Which means tailgating. Which often means a lot of unhealthy foods. However, there are tons of ways to prepare your favorite dishes with a healthy twist! For instance, instead of sour cream in dips use greek yogurt. Or instead of white bread for subs, use 100% whole wheat. It’s simple twists that can make a huge difference. Here are some healthy recipes of mine that you can bring to your tailgate party.

Healthy Cauliflower Buffalo Wing BitesWhat’s a tailgate without some chicken wings!  For the appetizer you can make my recipe for Cauliflower Buffalo Bites.

IMG_2727 For the main course you can prepare this Sweet Potato Turkey Chili over night and pack it into a thermal container to take to the game with you.  It’s great for those cold football days that you need to be warmed up on!

And you can’t end a tailgate without dessert. So here is a recipe for my Double Chocolate Chip Brownies.

What’s your favorite tailgate food?
