Green Mint St. Patricks Day Smoothie
I am on a smoothie kick lately, so I apologize if you’re not a smoothie person for providing two smoothie recipes in a row. Lucky for you next week I am cooking up a delicious dessert, so check back next week for that! Since the weather has been getting warmer out I have been craving post run smoothies. The cold and sweetness of smoothies just hits the spot after runs for me. I figured I would make this one a bit festive in celebration of St. Patrick’s day.
- 1 Small container plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 Frozen banana
- 1/4 Ripe avocado
- 1/2 Cup Spinach
- 4 Mint Leaves
- 1 Cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
- Blend all ingredients together.
- Add almond milk until desired consistency. Texture should be very creamy.
