Fall Harvest Oatmeal

Now that the colder weather is upon us I am back to eating oats for breakfast. To me, it is the perfect meal to warm me up a bit before I start the day. Here is my fall harvest oatmeal.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 Cup Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Cooked Sweet Potato
  • 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 Teaspoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Flax Seeds
  • 1 Packet Truvia
  • Sprinkle of Salt
  • Almonds or other nut to top garnish with

Directions:

  1. Cook oats per directions.
  2. Mash in sweet potato into oats.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Top with almonds and enjoy!
