Exploring Downtown Los Angeles Arts District
I follow so many great Instagram accounts, a lot having to do with traveling around Los Angeles and all the fun things there is to do and see in this city! One area of town I had never been but had been wanting to go explore a bit is the arts district in downtown Los Angeles. The main point for visiting the area was because I wanted to stop by the Hauser & Wirth Schimmel Gallery.
Some incredibly unique and interesting exhibits.
In the gallery courtyard, a giant rose.
This wall was at Cafe Gratitude. Cute and colorful!
I love finding these wall arts, they are all over Los Angeles! Check out more here: Wrdsmth.
I arrived at the gallery right when it opened on a Sunday, and was able to find street parking semi easy. I explored the gallery for a while, and then headed out to explore the area a bit more. I tried not to wander off too far, as I didn’t know the area all that well. I found a bunch of cool places, great coffee, and a farmers market. I love the vibe and architecture of that area. Probably one of my favorites in all of Los Angeles. I am definitely going to head back and explore some more after a bit more research to see whats around!
