Blueberry Mint Lemonade Smoothie

Smoothies are one of the easiest foods to make.  They are perfect for a post workout snack or you can even turn them into a meal depending what you put in them.  I was inspired to make this smoothie from the blueberry mint lemonade at Lemonade here in Los Angeles, which is to die for.  But I hadn’t realized what an amazing combo of flavors those were until I tasted that lemonade. So why not take these flavors and make them into a smoothie perfectly refreshing for post run in this hot Los Angeles weather we’re having!

  2. Add Almond milk to desired consistency.

At Idea World I tasted a sample of a smoothie that contained avocado.  It was game changing! Not only does it make the smoothie extra creamy and delicious, it adds a healthy fats to the smoothie helping with the absorption of protein.  How awesome is that! As you can see, smoothies are the perfect simple way to get a lot of nutrition in an easy way as you manage your busy schedule!
