5 Foods For a Better Sleep

I often have a hard time falling asleep.  So I decided to look into ways that I can improve my sleep habits.  What I didn’t realize how much foods could have an effect on how well you sleep until I did some more research.

 

Here is a list of some of the foods I found can help with better sleep

  1. Lentils- Lentils are such a great food all around really, they have magnesium, potassium and protein to keep you full.
  2. Almonds- Lots of magnesium(hint I have found that magnesium is key to looking for foods that assist in sleeping)
  3. Bananas
  4. Peanut butter (combining banana and peanut butter makes the perfect snack)
  5. Walnuts

Along with eating those foods, avoid products that contain caffeine
