4 Ways to Workout On a Budget

Los Angeles is an amazing city.  However, the cost of living here is moderately insane to me coming from a “smaller” city.  Not only that, the cost of a gym membership or workout classes can often be very expensive here.  I have found numerous ways to workout while still sticking to a budget, all of these options being completely free!

  1. Beach run/walks – Running or walking by the beach makes you completely forget you’re actually getting a workout in. Not only are the views incredible, but the beach is also a very relaxing atmosphere to relieve stress.
  2. Lululemon free yoga classes- Wait, what?! Free yoga? Yep, most lululemon stores host free yoga classes Sunday mornings.  Swing by their website and see if/what time they are having them and you’re good to go.  Most stores even provide yoga mats for you.
  3. Athleta free fitness classes- More free fitness classes, what?! Yep! The only problem may be is that athleta stores are only in major cities at the moment. If you are lucky enough to have one in your area, they offer free fitness classes throughout the week. Fun time, and a great way to meet new people!
  4. Use the website “meetup.  Basically it’s groups of people that meet up and do things they love.  Like playing soccer? Find a group that meets once a week on there to play.  It’s also another great way to meet new people!
